Walter Reynolds

Walter Reynolds has been a lifelong resident of Baldwin County. He is a graduate of Baldwin High School and Georgia Military College and continued studies in Rhetoric at Georgia College and State University. In 2007, Walter began working for Southern Stone Broadcasting at WMGZ-Z97. Through the years, Walt has taken on new projects and responsibilities in his work including sales, social media, events coordination and is now Director of Programming and Promotions. He has become involved with numerous civic groups and non-profit organizations. Walt volunteers his time with many of these groups including the Milledgeville First Friday Committee, Baldwin College and Career Academy Advisory Board, The Mayor’s Commission on Youth Leadership, and Baldwin Fine Arts just to name a few. Mr. Reynolds also serves as the President of The Oconee River Greenway Foundation and has been elected to two terms as Chairman of The Young Professionals of Milledgeville. He also serves on the board of Keep Milledgeville Baldwin Beautiful.

For the last several years, Walter has had the pleasure of hosting a multitude of charity and community events including: The Milledgeville Rotary Club’s Casino Night and Auction, The Animal Rescue Foundation’s Annual Dinner and Auction, The Oconee River Greenway Foundation’s Annual Silent Auction and Dinner, Christmas at Grant Parade, Milledgeville Idol, the Baldwin County Relay for Life, Jones County Relay for Life and the Baldwin County Literacy Fair. He has lent his gift for speaking to many other programs as well, including: The 2012 Georgia College Martin Luther King Day Celebration, the Central State Hospital Christmas Program and Georgia College’s 9-11 Remembrance Ceremony.

Walter is also happy to lend his voice to your advertising campaign, community program, cinematic production, or documentary.
